Plan includes sanitary pad equipment in Csömör

Procter & Gamble will invest $200 million in its Hungarian operations, according to recent reports. As part of this expansion, the company, which has operated in the country for 25 years, will add state-of-the-art equipment to manufacture sanitary pads at its Csömör facility.

P&G also makes baby diapers in Hungary at a second plant in Gyöngyös, which opened in 2014 and will soon also house Braun packaging operations as well as assembly and packaging operations for some Oral B products.

“Throughout our journey we have remained committed to continuously bringing innovation to Hungary, serving Hungarian consumers, investing in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and creating a modern working environment and contributing to the growth of the country,” says Geraldina Huse, CEO and chairman of the board, P&G Central Europe.
